Are you a qualified Teacher looking for a change of pace? Hazel Tree Education are currently looking for primary school teachers to support a number of mainstream schools in Wigan on short-term, long-term and flexible assignments.
We have full-time and part-time roles available across the borough in a variety of settings, offering lots of opportunities for growth and development as you begin your teaching career.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience teaching in UK schools
- A resilient and pro-active nature
- Excellent classroom management skills
- A creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
- Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and all aspects of assessment, tracking and utilising data
Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students.
- Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages learning and respects individual differences.
- Assess and monitor student progress in numeracy and other subjects, providing feedback to support their development.
- Utilize effective communication skills to collaborate with parents and colleagues regarding student performance and behavior management.
- Maintain classroom discipline and promote good behaviour through proactive strategies.
Successful candidates must have:
- A recognised teaching qualification from a UK university with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to purchase one at a cost of £60.50.
- At least two references including most recent/current employer.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A high standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
