Food Tech/DT Teacher required for September 2025!

Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a Warrington secondary school in their search for a full-time Food Tech Teacher to teach across the curriculum.

The Governing body is now seeking to appoint a Teacher of Food Technology and or of Design Technology, following a review of our growth and curriculum needs. This post offers an excellent opportunity for candidates with a vision to inspire pupils in a 21st Century learning environment.

As a Teacher of Food Tech or Design Tech, you will be part of a friendly and dedicated department. Staff hold high expectations for all pupils and work tirelessly to raise attainment and achievement.

Applicants must have:

• An Honours Degree with Qualified Teacher Status and evidence of delivering the National Curriculum in UK schools
• The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress and teach Food Tech up to GCSE level
• A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Two references including most recent employer
• Right to work in the UK
• A clear DBS on the Update Service or the means to acquire one
