Religious Education Teacher

Hazel Tree Education are supporting a secondary school located in the Wigan area.

We are currently looking for a Religious Education teacher to work with pupils aged 11-16 to cover a role due to start in January 2026.

The role is a long-term position, expected to continue until the end of the summer term.

The successful candidate must have:

– A relevant degree (or equivalent)

– PGCE with QTS

– Experience of teaching Religious Education at a GCSE level

– Evidence of the ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress

– The ability to lead, motivate and inspire students

– A clear and current DBS on the Update Service or the means to acquire one
