Primary Teacher

Primary Teacher (KS1 or KS2) – Wigan

We are looking for passionate and empathetic individuals who have a commitment to providing an interesting, varied and high-quality education to learners.

This ‘Good’ Rated school by OFSTED are looking to recruit a KS1/KS2 teacher to support pupils including  with SEND needs. Pupils thrive at this friendly and welcoming school. Staff work effectively to build a dedicated team which shares the school’s vision and values.

This vacancy is to start in ASAP working hours 8:30am- 3:30pm.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience teaching in UK schools
• A resilient and pro-active nature
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
• Sound knowledge of the National Curriculum and all aspects of assessment, tracking and utilising data

Successful candidates must have:

• A recognised teaching qualification from a UK university with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) e.g., PGCE or equivalent.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one.
• At least two references including most recent/current employer.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A high standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
