Hazel Tree Education are working with an SEN school in Wigan, in their search for a Supply Teacher covering KS1 and 2.

The school caters for pupils aged 3-11 with a range of complex needs. Preparing young people for the future to make a positive contribution to the community.

We are looking for a qualified teacher with a background in supporting SEN students to work full time on a long term basis supporting the school. You will have the ability to teach throughout a range of subjects, working closely with other staff members and within small groups.

School working hours: Monday- Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Applicants must have:

  • PGCE with QTS
  • The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
  • A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
  • Strong behaviour management skills
  • Two references including most recent employer
  • Right to work in the UK
  • A clear DBS on the Update Service
