SEND Teacher

Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting an SEND School in Warrington in their search for an inspirational and effective Teacher to deliver a range of subjects. Monday-Friday 08:30-15:30 on a full-time basis.

The provision provides high quality, innovative, alternative educational experience for pupils and students with a range of special educational needs including MLD, ASD and complex needs.

The school ensures that all learners, from EYFS to Key stage 4 onwards, engage in a revised and vibrant curriculum offer called Pathways. – The pupils within this particular curriculum are on pathways 4. As well as including key skills, the young people also have the chance to experience a wide range of vocational and extended learning opportunities.

Applicants must have:

• A recognised teaching qualification e.g. PGCE with QTS and experience teaching in UK schools
• The ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
• A resilient nature, excellent communication skills and a creative, inspirational approach to classroom practice
• Strong behaviour management skills
• Two references including most recent employer
• Right to work in the UK
• A clear DBS on the Update Service
