SEN Secondary 2:1 Learner Support Role – KS4 (ASD Focus) – Wigan

Hazel Tree Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and calm individual to support a Key Stage 4 learner within a SEN secondary setting, primarily working with learners with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).

This is a 2:1 learner support role, working alongside a KS4 student who follows their own personalised timetable. The role is to start ASAP (beginning next week), working 2 days per week, and will continue on a rolling basis until the end of the summer term.

We are initially offering a trial period to ensure the successful candidate is the right fit for the setting and learner.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Remains calm, patient, and consistent in approach
  • Is willing to learn, listen, and take direction from experienced staff
  • Has a positive and supportive attitude towards young people with additional needs
  • Can commit fully to the duration of the role
  • Holds an Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (essential)

Location: Wigan
Start: ASAP (next week)
Days: 2 days per week
Duration: Until Summer (with initial trial period)
