The Role

We are seeking an Education Recruitment Consultant to build and develop a cold desk across an area of the North West.

This is a full 360 recruitment role, combining business development, relationship building, and candidate delivery within the education sector.

You will need a strong understanding of education and school settings and the ability to hit the ground running from day one.

What to Expect

Initially, you will spend much of your time on the phone, using your sales skills to build relationships with schools and educational settings. You will introduce Hazel Tree Education, clearly communicate our value, and explain why schools choose to partner with us.

Alongside this, you will:

  • Recruit talented educators
  • Build a strong candidate pipeline
  • Proactively market candidates to schools
  • Create and develop long-term client relationships

Working Pattern

  • Monday–Friday: 7:30am–4:30pm
  • School holidays: reduced hours (10:00am–3:00pm)
  • Hybrid working: 2–3 days in a co-working space in Warrington, rest from home
  • Initial onboarding phase may require more time in the office/co-working space for training and support

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong sales / business development background
  • Knowledge of education or school environments (essential)
  • Confidence is a MUST
  • Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
  • Recruitment experience is a bonus, not essential
  • Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
  • Resilient, proactive, and target-driven mindset
