Maths Teacher

Hazel Tree Education is currently recruiting for a qualified Maths Teacher to join a supportive secondary school in Liverpool on a full-time basis starting in September.

This is a fantastic temp to perm opportunity, where the successful candidate will work through Hazel Tree Education from September until December before transitioning into a permanent role with the school from January 2027.

The successful candidate will:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Have experience teaching Maths at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
• Be confident in planning and delivering engaging lessons
• Have strong classroom management skills
• Be committed to supporting students’ progress and achievement

The role:

• Full-time position
• September start
• Temp to perm opportunity
• Working through Hazel Tree Education from September to December
• Permanent contract with the school from January 2027
• Teaching Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Maths

Requirements:

• An enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one
• Relevant teaching qualifications and recent classroom experience
• A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
