  • Support teachers in the planning, preparation, and assessment of learning
  • Lead whole-class sessions during teacher absence where appropriate
  • Provide targeted support for pupils with SEND and additional learning needs
  • Monitor, assess, record, and report on pupil progress and attainment
  • Support the development of pupils’ academic, social, emotional, and behavioural skills
  • Contribute to the implementation of the school’s learning strategies and policies
  • Promote high standards of behaviour, engagement, and achievement
  • Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and external professionals where required
  • Actively participate in staff meetings, training, and ongoing professional development (CPD)

About You

The ideal candidate will be an experienced HLTA with a proven track record of supporting learning across the curriculum and leading groups or whole classes when required. You will be confident, adaptable, and committed to helping pupils achieve their full potential.

You will bring strong classroom management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for inclusive education.

What’s on Offer

  • Full-time, permanent position starting in September
  • Opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive educational environment
  • Professional development and ongoing CPD opportunities
  • A collaborative team committed to high standards and pupil success
