We are seeking a Teaching Assistant to support a pupil 1:1 in Year 8.
This ‘Oustanding’ Ofsted rated school is well-regarded in the local area and well known for their positivity and motivation towards learning.
This school are looking for an enthusiastic candidate who has patience and resilience to support a pupil with ASD with their learning.
What we’re looking for:
- A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.
- A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Knowledge and understanding of supporting learners with SEN.
Successful candidates must have:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to purchase one at a cost of £55
- At least two references including most recent/current employer.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
