Hazel Tree Education are supporting a local Authority Maintained nursery in Leigh.
The provision caters for 2-4 year old’s, as well as an onsite Forest school. We are looking for a qualified level 3 Early Years Teaching Assistant for a full time role until the summer holidays.
The hours are 8:30-15:30, Monday to Friday.
Role
- Support 2-4 year olds as directed
- Acting as key worker under the direction of the nursery teachers
- Supporting learners with SEND
- Enabling access to learning for all pupils
- Behaviour management
- Setting high expectations
- Provide support to all pupils, inside and outside the classroom
Must Have
- A sensitive approach
- Level 2 or 3 Teaching assistant qualification
- Well-developed communication skills
- Experience of working with EYFS learners
- DBS on the update service
- Ability to build professional relationships
