Junior Education Recruitment Consultant – Full Time

Hazel Tree Education are looking to expand their team.

Recruitment is a fine balance of sales and people management. You MUST be confident speaking on the phone, and doing cold calls alongside Marketing emails.

Mon- Fri 7:30- 4:30 Term time

School Hols  Mon- Fri 10:00-3:00

The Role

Initially you will support our consultants, by playing a key part in filling job vacancies, dealing with absences, registering candidates, managing candidates and various other admin. Once the basics are understood, you will continue to support whilst growing your own area.

This will consist of a 360 recruitment role;

  • Generate new business from Non using clients within your targeted area ( Wigan)
  • Manage using clients and increase spend and customer satisfaction
  • Post engaging and professional job ads
  • Build talent pool – Contact applicants who have applied via our website and job boards
  • Pre Screen Applicants
  • Register Applicants
  • Arrange and Attend client meetings
  • Provide advice and guidance to candidates regarding current job roles/ placements and support them throughout their role
  • Identify skills of candidates to match to specific roles
  • Professionally deal with day to day absences for your using clients and non-using clients
  • Marketing of candidates via profiles and calls
  • Liaise with Team resourcer to identify needs
  • Learning and Operating the CRM
  • Attend Career events/ Job Fairs

What we are looking for

  • Individuals with ambition to climb the ladder and become Area Managers, with opportunities of managing their own team of consultants.
  • Sales Experience- ideal but not Essential.
  • Confidence – this role will involve you speaking on the phone to both candidates and client schools.
  • Business Development- You will be responsible for contacting new schools and candidates through “ cold calls” We do not have pressuring targeted KPIs but we want to see results.
  • Results motivated – How you build up your client base is up to you. Hazel Tree Education follows an ethical model, focused on supplying the right candidate to the right school. We do not do, bums on seats for a quick profit.
