SEN Teacher

Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting Wigan SEND and SEMH schools in their search for qualified primary and secondary teachers.

We are looking for passionate and empathetic individuals who have a commitment to providing an interesting, varied and high-quality education to learners with additional needs. Whether you are already experienced in this area, an NQT or a teacher looking for a new direction, we’d love to hear from you.

Due to increased demand, we can offer both long-term and short-term contracts on a flexible, full-time or part-time basis.

Successful candidates must have:

• A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS
• Demonstrable ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
• A passion for education and delivering the national curriculum in a lively, engaging and forward-thinking way
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to purchase one at a cost of £60.50
• At least two references including most recent/current employer.
• Right to work in the UK.
• A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
