Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting Wigan SEND and SEMH schools in their search for qualified primary and secondary teachers.
We are looking for passionate and empathetic individuals who have a commitment to providing an interesting, varied and high-quality education to learners with additional needs. Whether you are already experienced in this area, an NQT or a teacher looking for a new direction, we’d love to hear from you.
Due to increased demand, we can offer both long-term and short-term contracts on a flexible, full-time or part-time basis.
Successful candidates must have:
- A relevant teaching qualification such as PGCE with QTS
- Demonstrable ability to track, monitor and report on pupils’ progress
- A passion for education and delivering the national curriculum in a lively, engaging and forward-thinking way
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to purchase one at a cost of £60.50
- At least two references including most recent/current employer.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
