Hazel Tree Education are currently supporting a highly regarded specialist primary school for children with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) aged 4-11.
The school is a supportive, nurturing environment where pupils thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school was most recently inspected by Ofsted and continues to be rated Outstanding, reflecting the quality of care and learning provided.
This school is known for its engaging learning experiences, including sensory activities, structured routines, enrichment clubs such as choir and yoga, and a positive ethos where every child is welcomed and supported.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8.35am – 15:35pm
What we’re looking for:
- A recognised qualification in Teaching and Learning or Childcare or experience working with children in a formal setting e.g school, residential, sports coaching.
- An interest in supporting children with additional needs.
- A resilient, pro-active nature with a positive, can-do attitude.
- Experience supporting individuals with Special educational Needs.
Successful candidates must have:
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
- At least two references including most recent/current employer.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
