Hazel Tree Education is currently recruiting Support Workers to work with children and young people in residential and supported living settings in Warrington.

This is a full-time, shift-based role with sleep-ins paid additionally. A 2 on / 4 off rota is offered to support a healthy work–life balance.

The client are looking for care-experienced young people aged 16–18, including those with emotional and behavioural needs (SEMH).

It is essential that you have a valid driving licence, and have access to your own vehicle with business insurance.

Role Overview

As a Support Worker, you will:

  • Work as part of a professional care team to support young people’s daily needs
  • Build positive, consistent relationships as a key worker
  • Support care plans tailored to individual needs and goals
  • Encourage independence, personal development, and life skills
  • Promote emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour strategies
  • Support with daily routines, activities, education, and social engagement
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding procedures at all times

  • Understanding of emotional and behavioural challenges
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliability, honesty, and a safeguarding-focused approach
  • Willingness to work shifts, including sleep-ins
  • Full UK Driving Licence required
