Hazel Tree Education are supporting a special needs school based in Newton-Le -Willows.
The school supports learners with Social, Emotional and Mental health needs, which include ADHD, ASD and ODD. They are a highly inclusive and innovative establishment, who cater for 55 young people from year 4 to year 11 with a strong focus on behavioral management and pastoral care running hand in hand with teaching and learning.
We are looking for strong, enthusiastic and dependable Teaching Assistants, Support workers or youth workers for full time positions.
Monday- Friday 8:30-3:30
You will be responsible for supporting learners 1:1 or within small groups. Focusing on both academic, and pastoral tasks. It will be vital that you can build relationships with young people who are neurodiverse, as well as having the confidence to manage challenging behaviours.
