We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of a specialist post-16 education provider in Wigan known for its creative, inclusive, and student-focused approach.
The college provides a supportive learning environment for students with Special Education Needs (SEN) .The college provides small class sizes, allowing for individualised student support within a nurturing environment.
Your responsibilities will include providing one-to-one and small group supporting various subjects including: Maths, English, Media, Film, Photography, Music
We are looking for candidates to complete a trial at the College and of all goes well a Permanent role will be offered for Septmeber start.
Successful candidates must have:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Patience, empathy, and adaptability
- Previous experience in an educational setting
- An Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one
- At least two references including most recent/current employer.
- Right to work in the UK.
- A good standard of literacy and numeracy with excellent written and verbal communication.
